DMK8 Band Students are All-State Bound!
The Dove Mountain K-8 band is celebrating an extraordinary achievement as seven students have been selected to participate in the All-State Band, one of the highest honors for student musicians in Arizona.
To qualify, students completed a rigorous taped audition process that required them to perform three scales and two short songs or etudes in a single, uninterrupted take. This challenging format tests not only musical skill, but focus, preparation, and confidence. DMK8 students earned exceptionally high scores, securing their place among the top student musicians in the state.

These talented musicians will rehearse and perform with the All-State Band on March 14 at Mountain View High School in Mesa, Arizona.
We are incredibly proud of these students for their dedication, hard work, and outstanding musical accomplishments, and we look forward to cheering them on as they represent Dove Mountain at the state level.
